Side tables are a must in interior designing, small enough to fit at the end of a sofa or in a corner or small alcove yet big enough to support that all important table lamp and of course a vase of flowers and special frames photographs. This lovely solid wood side table with its beautiful, perfect barley twist legs has been painted with a Frenchic Paint, Hornblower. I have slightly distressed this table to highlight the edges and twists, I feel a bit of distressing gives an extra depth to a piece, I have also applied a coat of wax to seal the distressing and give an extra satin sheen.
